Service Description
The officer will receive training in either a straight stick, side-handle, or collapsible baton. This
training will fall in line with the BSIS state certified baton course to include policies and
liability, use for force, escalation/de-escalation, stance, strikes, blocks, first aid, and reporting
procedures.
